Strawberry Parfait

Sprinkle a pint of sliced strawberries with ½ cup of sugar, the grated zest and juice of 1 orange, and 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar and set aside for 15 minutes.

Whip 1 cup of heavy cream with ½ cup sugar until soft peaks form. Starting with the fruit and ending with whipped cream, make 3 layers in each of 4 dessert glasses.
